|     Primary Purpose: Complete Functional Behavioral Assessments as a member of the Special Education Evaluation Team. Support teachers in the implementation of the district's Positive Behavioral Supports systems. Collaborate with campus teams regarding behavior and social skills needs.  Provide counseling as a related service (LPC/LSSP only), behavioral supports/interventions, facilitate social skills groups and support teachers in working effectively with low incidence disabilities. Qualifications: Education/Certification: Master’s degree in counseling or related field Valid Texas counseling certificate (LPC, LSSP or BCBA preferred)   Special Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of counseling procedures, student appraisal, and career development Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior Ability to present information in one-on-one, small group, and large group situations to students, parents, and district staff Knowledge of behavioral interventions, strategies for autism students Experience: Two years experience working with school age children (school based experience preferred) Experience working with behavior interventions with low incidence disabilities           Major Responsibilities and Duties: Guidance (LSSP/LPC candidates only)
